HSK Leadership
Holistic | Sustainable | Knowledgable
Great leaders embrace holistic, sustainable, and knowledgeable leadership
to lead in full consciousness of self, others, and global societies
The HSK Coaching Philosophy
International business leaders have an increasing need to adapt quickly and effectively to ever-changing geopolitics and global economic situations. We understand the pressures that leaders face to deliver results while balancing cross-cultural nuances, varying national economic policies and an increasingly diverse workforce. All too often, stakes are high and there is no room for failure, leaving leaders with little space for empathy, authenticity and trust-building.

We believe that great leaders start by leading themselves. Dealing with the complexities of international business begins with a deep understanding of who you are as a leader, and being intentional about your values and habits. Only then can you confidently face adversity with wisdom and resilience.
We help leaders to achieve this through our Holistic, Sustainable and Knowledgable approach.
The HSK Approach
Holistic
Sustainable
Knowledgeable
Our international experts take an interdisciplinary approach, drawing from psychology, philosophy, transformation management and organisational culture. Our solutions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual and organisation.
Our approach also takes into consideration longevity and long-term impact. This approach emphasises balance between John Elkington’s concept of the triple bottom line of “economy, society and environment” or “profit, people and planet.”
The Holistic approach takes into account the “Wholeness” of the individual. This approach considers every aspect of a leader’s self – including physical, psychological, social and spiritual well-being. Likewise, organisations also need to be approached as a “Whole”.
The HSK Process
Leadership is critical to any organisation’s ability to adapt to change, disruptions and volatility. In times of high uncertainty and competition, the burden of leadership becomes heavier than ever. HSK Leadership coaching provides multi-tiered support for leaders by providing leaders with feedback on their skills and progress; discussing key concerns and tracking goals and progress.

Our coaching journey begins with a diagnostic process, focused on building mindfulness and self-awareness. This is where we guide you in self-reflection to cultivate your personal values and principles, identify your behaviours and habits, examine your modes of thinking and assess your learning aptitude.
We use that self-awareness as a springboard to help you to establish and develop your personal qualities as a leader.

Once the foundation for self leadership has been established, we incorporate our experience to help you in building trusted relationships across international teams.

These relationships help to create alignment towards a common vision, ensuring that you can get everyone pulling in the same direction as you explore your organisation's greater purpose and impact in the world.

Testimonials
Dr. Hoon helped me to overcome my stress and anxieties in managing unexpected challenges… she worked with my personal leadership psychology to understand the intricacies of communicating and interacting with my subordinates, my dealings with personal as well as professional strains and worries. She also inspires me to embrace mindful and authentic leadership. I have learned to develop my ‘self-awareness’ and appreciate the indispensable quality of trustworthiness, integrity and ethical values.
As the President of Dow Chemical for Greater China, I met Dr. Hoon at an INSEAD seminar in Singapore in 1994. After the seminar, I invited and hired Dr. Hoon to give a training seminar, “Managing Joint-Ventures in a Cross-cultural Context”, for managers in Dow Chemical Greater China, which was a resounding success.
We have stayed in touch ever since. I sincerely thank Dr. Hoon for all her frank opinions and constructive advice over the years. She has played a key role in my career advancement and personal development.
